Sterling Shores 414

This was our second time staying at Sterling Shores, but our first time in this unit. Unit was great for our family of four! It does sleep six, but the additional sleeping is the pull out couch in the living room. We traveled with three other families, and all were satisfied with their units too! The Back Porch is a gem to have nearby as we could hear names being called from our balcony. Excellent food, but they were extremely busy each night we were there. That’s why it was nice to go and put our name in, and we could walk back to our room for a drink. They call your name at least twice, so you don’t miss your reservation. They have outside seating for waiting too. The beach was amazing, and we walked almost 1.5 miles down to a beach bar one day. The kids went on a banana boat ride, and these type of excursions are only a few doors down from Sterling Shores. They had jet skis too. Also, we highly recommend Jackacuda’s Seafood and Sushi. Excellent sushi and food! Lastly, we enjoyed having the beach chairs that are at the condo for use. When we stayed a couple years ago (different unit), they provided two beach rental chairs for the week. They were set up with our name each morning we walked out to the beach. That was amazing, but I’m sure those days are over for providing them with increased costs for everything. Perfect week, nearly perfect weather, and perfect accommodations!!

We were so pleased with this room! Very clean and loved all the complimentary boxes in each bathroom and kitchen. The view is great as well!

We have stayed at Sterling Shores 414 for the last few years and we absolutely love this property. We feel like this place is our home away from home. So comfortable and clean, we wood not even think about staying anywhere else. We always recommend this place to our family and friends

This was a great place to stay all the decoration in the room fit the stay. Over the furniture is in good condition although I could not use the spa in main bedroom not sure if it didn’t work or that I didn’t know how to turn it on. The area/real state at the private beach access is a little small for all the people in sterling shores. (Elbow to elbow) We had to go to the Henderson Beach to get more space and play on the beach. But Condo stay, security, parking all good. We made breakfast order food and had no problem with all of that.

Lovely view and perfect location!!! Everything was perfect My family and I had a wonderful time from the moment we pulled into the location. Beautiful landscaping in front of the resort. Great ocean and pool view. The pictures did not do this unit justice the floor plan was way larger than we thought and the beach decor was perfect. We enjoyed the pools even though one was very cold we got to swim in the other. We loved that we had private beach access and also all the gift stores and shopping stores were on the same strip. The Track go karts and mini golf was 3 mins away. Also go to Harborwalk village (10 mins away) and go on a dolphin cruise with captain Roy!! Everything was amazing we will definitely be coming back next year

Best Vaca ever I loved staying here they made everything so easy for us! The view was amazing it was the perfect spot the beach is not a far walk at all. The restaurant (the back porch) close by was delicious. They had all the utensils needed to cook which was very nice! I can go on and on. The point is I will definitely be coming back to stay on my next vacation!

Destin Getaway The condo was clean and spacious, location very good. Pools were very nice. View excellent. Overall very relaxing week. The small beach area and quantity of umbrellas made the beach area feel very crowded.

Absolutely fabulous Condo! This resort has it all! Great pool, beach front, and the Backyard restaurant is right there, so that you can grab hamburgers or drinks during the day. We will definitely stay at the Sterling Shores again! And Unit 414 must surely have the best view of all! I wish the resort would improve the fitness center, but that it the only slightly negative thing I would say. Really great overall!

Great location. Well kept property. Condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. Only thing that could have made our stay better would have been a bar to purchase blended drinks and overhead music at the pool. Would definately come back!

2nd stay here within a year! we love this place! close to shopping, nightlife and restaurants! The only thing that needs to be changed is to include the beach chairs and umbrella which is a little pricey! Ready to go back already!!

Beautiful resort and location is perfect. Loved having two pools… perfect for families. Room was nicely decorated. Only complaint I would have is that the dryer had a hard time drying clothes and towels. Would stay again!

Quiet, clean and relaxing. Great proximity to beachJust as advertised. No surprises or disappointing discoveries, other than we thought that the large oasis pool would be heated as well instead of just the small pool, but definitely not a deal breaker and we spent most of the time on the beach anyway. Very cutely decorated, everything you would need in the kitchen is except for no salt/pepper, coffee filters, sugar or olive oil. Make sure to pack your own so you don’t end up needing to buy all new pantry basics when you get down there. Also would recommend purchasing some cheap beach chairs at the beginning of the trip as we didn’t realize it would be $$$$/day to rent two chairs on the beach. Overall, highly recommend this unit! We liked that the Back Porch restaurant was right there so that we could get frozen drinks easily while sitting on the beach.

This resort is beautiful and our condo was clean. I loved our decor and we had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was just as pictured. The pools were amazing and access to the beach was so easy. If you have kids this is the place to stay. My teenagers could come and go as they pleased. No concerns for safety. Pools are great for all ages and the walk to the beach is easy for kids and seniors. The beach was clean and beautiful. My only complaint is the price for beach service. Never in 20 years have I paid $250 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Service said it is due to COVID, but it felt like we were being taken advantage of. I really liked staying here, I hope the owners could negotiate a better deal with the beach service.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was pretty much as promised. Our only issue was a minor one: The curtains on the right side of the sliding doors were partially unhooked. We were easily able to compensate for this by just extending the left side curtains a little bit. Overall we had a great time and will likely consider this property again.

We are really enjoying this condo! The view is perfect, the amenities are top notch, and the condo has everything we need! The whole property is smoke free which is a plus!! We will definitely stay in this same condo our next time here! We have stayed in lots of condos in Destin and we finally found the perfect place in Destin!!

Beach vacation This property was perfect! The 2 pools were a big hit with our young children. The beach is an easy walk across the street which was also great with small children. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The view of the pool & ocean in the background was beautiful. We will defonitely

This was our second year in this condo and we love it - decorated with beach in mind and very comfy and clean. Love the new balcony furniture! We don't venture far from the property on Spring Break so having The Back Porch right out back is awesome, we end up there several times. We will be back!

Beautiful view, clean and well decorated condo, gorgeous property Grounds and pool. This is a beautiful property. The condo was very clean and well decorated. The balcony view was beautiful. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the Back Porch restaurant. We had a couple issues with things not working quite right at the condo and the property managers quickly resolved them. (Dryer not drying and front stove burner not working). Well stocked condo. Might suggest more "left over" type containers with lids. No complaints at all with this unit or location. We plan to return!!

We were 100% satisfied, i would recommend Compass resorts to everyone, this is a 1st class company, with 1st class accommodations we definitely be using them next year and many more to come, Well equipped unit even had a new rod & reel to fish with !

Nice place, great view of beach Nice place, very clean and easy access to beach. Great views from balcony. However you'll need a bring a few things such as kleenex and shampoo.
