Sterling Sands 101 is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom, Gulf-front Condominium situated right on the sugary, white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Sterling Sands 101 has a private Gulf-front balcony that is accessed through the Living Area and master bedroom through floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors. The living area and both bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs.

This is located on the first floor. All guest staying at Sterling Sands are required to register and pay the on-site Association prior to arrival in order to receive parking passes and amenity wristbands.

The open-concept living area of Sterling Sands 101 contains a main living area, dining area, and kitchen, with views of the beach from all. The living area has a comfortable sectional sofa perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach, and a nice wet bar and mini fridge just a few steps away. The kitchen is equipped with all of the dishware and cookware you will need to create your own family recipes, and the dining area also includes a breakfast bar which, together, provide seating for your entire group. There is a laundry closet in the main hallway that contains a full-sized washer and dryer set.

The first master bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, a private entrance to the beachfront balcony, a walk-in closet, and a kitchenette that includes a Keurig, sink, mini fridge, and microwave. The master bathroom has two vanities, a jetted tub, and a tiled walk-in shower.

The guest bedroom has full-size bunk beds with a twin trundle, a large closet, and access to the main guest bathroom. The guest bathroom has a vanity and a tub-shower combination.

Will Return Soon!

We really enjoyed the beautiful condo! We especially liked having 2 master suites with King beds in both! The beach was also gorgeous and very convenient & close. Wish the beach chairs were included with our rental. Also would love to have had a rocker recliner in the living area as well as handicapped grab bars in the showers for older guests! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and hope to return soon! Highly recommend this unit!

Spring Break

Spent our spring break enjoying this condo. Easily fit 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Amazing location and beach access - have referred this rental to several friends already.

Everything was absolutely above and beyond!

We would've loved a later checkout. With a baby and a later flight, nap time was impossible. We had to rent a hotel for the afternoon for a nap. We requested a late check-in and the lady was very rude

Nice staycation on the beach

Had a good overall experience. Great location, nice condo. The dryer doesn't dry very well, I think the heating element is going out. We had to dry single items alone or small loads 2-3 times. The door to the master bath doesn't close enough to lock but closes enough for privacy. Otherwise, had a good stay and would recommend.

October Vacation in Destin, Florida

Overall great

The only issue I had was the garbage disposal was broke, but was fixed within 2 hrs of requesting repair. The jets in the tubs were dirty so they weren't used after letting the run and flush for some time. Other than that everything was perfect and I'd definitely rebook.

Nice Unit Nice clean quiet unit with a beautiful view of the beach. They provided plenty of towels and good basic supplies, which included paper towel roll, trash bags, dishwasher pods, dish soap & sponge, travel size soaps, and plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, cups, & cooking essentials. Check in was a breeze, we could walk across the street to shop & eat, pool area was clean & well maintained, & staff was friendly.

Lovely place

All was great but just want to mention they need a new dryer. It runs and heats, but for some reason doesnâ€™t dry the clothes. But to end on a good note, the view is priceless!

Beautiful Beach Front Condo We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is comfortable and right in the beach. We prefer a more private section of the beach to stay on, but our choices were limited due to a late start in booking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for our family.

Family Beach trip

The condo was perfect! Loved the two master suites and the extra wine fridges were so nice to have! The beach service was great after the first day. Note to future renters to reserve chairs (two come with the rental) but even to get the two (or reserve additional) you have to see the guys on the beach when they open at 9am. The line on Saturday morning was really long but once you get through that they have the chairs set up with your name on them in the same spot for the rest of your stay. We had tried calling per the app instructions but even after leaving messages never received a call back. The guy on the beach said standing in line was the only way to get your chairs reserved with your name that they donâ€™t do anything over the phone. Wasnâ€™t a big deal just would have been good to know so we could have been in line earlier instead we were toward the back and it took about an hour. Overall would definitely recommend this condo and would stay again!

Great place to stay!

This condo is convenient to the beach, pool, and all the area attractions. It was spacious and suited me, my husband, and my son and his family of 3 perfect. The only minor complaint is the couch is not very comfy to sit on but who needs to sit inside at the beach anyway!

Sterling Sands Unit 101

We were very happy with our stay in this unit & would definitely recommend it. It was very clean, has great views, a well stocked kitchen, plus a 60-inch tv! The only issue we had was receiving conflicting communications from the property manager (Compass Resorts) re. whether the parking pass, wristbands & gate codes that are needed to access the pool & beach areas would be waiting for us in a â€œwelcome basketâ€ in the condo or would need to be picked up at the HOA office located in the parking area,. (FYI there was no welcome basket; the bands must be picked up at the HOA office, which has very limited hours of 3-5pm). Because of this, we were unable to use these amenities for most of our first day. Except for this, everything was great.Â

We've been twice and it's just as nice... :) This is our second time staying at Sterling Sands and we'll definitely be back again. Our family loves the pool and the beach front of the Sterling Sands property. We'd love it if the beach chairs/umbrella came with the rental, but this year we brought our own knowing it wasn't included. It's not a make or break for us, it'd just be a bonus! We also loved having a parking spot underground this year. We did have some gentleman working while we were in our condo and they used our balcony multiple times (storing their tools under one of our patio chairs) throughout the week without talking to us. That was a little odd, but again probably something that wouldn't happen often while staying in the condo.

Compass Resorts made everything so easy! If there was a question, all I did was make a phone call. We were able to extend our stay an extra day, and everything went as smooth as clockwork.
