The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Maarten Penthouse 5 have been tastefully decorated with a trendy beach theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and provides plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the flat-screen TV. The couch event converts to a queen sleeper sofa for larger parties. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for eight with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size appliances and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a luxurious jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. Both guest bedrooms face the north side of the resort and offer unbeatable views of the resort grounds. The first guest bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private access to the north balcony. The second guest bedroom has two full beds, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the north balcony. The second guest bedroom has a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Just steps from both the first guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Excellent overall experience. We've been coming for over 10 years. Re-opening the amenities was HUGE. Much as we like it, probably won't return if the amenities close again-it's a deal breaker. Also texting the codes, WIFI info, etc., to my cell was extremely helpful. No problems

We had a great time! Absolutely loved the location of our condo. We did have a toilet issue but they sent someone right away to fix it!! We will be coming back!! We left early and dropped keys at office.

We loved the Penthouse We really enjoyed our condo!! Having the garage to leave your chairs and beach stuff was so convenient. The condo was very spacious! Loved our Gulf views, it was perfect for us!

You cannot beat the balcony views and beach accessibility.
I have been staying at St Maarten through Compass resorts the past 8 years. You cannot beat the balcony views and beach accessibility. The Sandbar has delicious food/ beverages, and it is so convenient being on the beach. The room was great and I love that Netflix was available in the den TV. The condo was very modern and nicely decorated. I can’t speak highly enough about the Customer service at Compass. Liz, Ken, and Maggie we’re so on top of it and attentive to all of our needs. Overall, it was a great vacation, and we will be back! The only downside is that the on-site gym (weights/ cardio) and tennis courts were not open to guests; however, Compass gives you free access to Destin Fitness which is very nice.

Silver Shells St. Maarten PH5
We’ve stayed at approx 25 various units in Silver Shells and always enjoy the complex. Convenience and about everything you could want amenity-wise. Our teenagers could easily run to the Back Porch, the Track, Merlin’s Pizza, etc. PH 5 was wonderfully convenient to the beach. As it happened, it rained a lot during our stay and it was cool to hear the rain hitting the roof. Made for some good naps. We loved the floorplan which worked great for our family. The living room was terrific and enjoyed by all. The only thing I would say to improve, is the unit seemed more dated than some we’ve stayed at. All the mattresses were pretty worn out, and the unit was in need of some tlc. One of the shower doors was out of line, the icemaker didn’t initially work, and the AC seemed to struggle a bit, even though it was a cooler rainy week. The convenience of it all, and also Compass resorts made up for all this. They came quickly to handle any requests. We will definitely always rent thru them from now on. Even with a couple hiccups, we loved the beautiful unit and will keep it in mind for future stays.

Very good. We had an issue with ice maker. They had to order a valve that wasn't to be delivered until the day we left, but they immediately brought us a bag of ice and said to call if we needed more delivered to our room. Also had a chair that had a leg that was broken that they repaired that same day. Compass Resorts did a wonderful job start to finish. We had no problems with them or with their attention to details or issues. I was told there was only a keurig in the unit but it did have a coffee maker and a Keurig. Not a big problem, but I would have brought coffee instead of k-cups with us.
