Wonderful Vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view of the beach was beautiful. Condo had everything we needed. Reached out to management a couple of times and got a quick response. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything in our condo exceeded our expectations! We loved the convenience of everything nearby as well. We had a large group that stayed there as well and thought this was a great place as well for a large group!

Perfect!
This was a perfect condo for a stay at the beach. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to make a variety of meals. A grocery store and a pharmacy were a short walk away. Would highly recommend the area and this condo.

Much better set up than staying at a hotel
Ample room and 2 bathrooms was nice. It took us at least 2 days to figure out how to navigate the place. No map was provided and elevators did not always work. The heated pool was in the process of being filled when we arrived and never did open for use during our stay. The other outdoor pool was ice cold. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and ware. The beach is stunning, make sure to catch a sunset, those colors are unbelievable! Seeing dolphins from the balcony and when wading in the ocean was a highlight!

Great Location!
Condo is beautiful and nicely furnished. Bed are comfortable and loved the available extra linens and pillows. Washer/dryer is a perk. The location is great! Close to grocery store, many eating places and outlet mall! Loved the beach and included beach service. I reached out to management about confirming availability of beach chairs and umbrella with our rental and never heard back. It was not crowded and had a family friendly environment. A map of the condo would have been nice. It was confusing getting to and from the parking garage the first couple days. Elevators didn’t always work. Heated pool was not available during our stay. Giving us a heads up about that would have been nice. I would not have packed all the pool toys. Save packing space and buy cheap beach towels when you are there. Construction did not bother our stay. We enjoyed our stay!

Vacation at Edgewater
Wifi did not work properly while we were at the property. Computer and phones It showed was connected to the wifi network, but didn’t know when we tried to access the internet. We use our hot spot.

Awesome.....best stay we've had at Destin... we're planning on coming back and may stay down towards crab island since we do everything in that area; however, we would stay back where we did if we couldn't find anything we liked. Overall we had a great time on our vacation and Compass Resorts helped us achieve that.
We checked out using the procedure given. I would just have liked to received confirmation that we had successfully "checked out". Other than that check out was good as well. It was nice not having to go somewhere else to check out. Overall we had a great time on our vacation and Compass Resorts helped us achieve that. Being first timers to the gulf, we appreciated it very much!

Quality room and localeThe unit had quality decor, comfy bed and pillows. You can tell the owners take the renters needs into consideration. Anything you can think of you’d need was there. From kitchen appliances (crockpots, blenders, coffee makers, etc.) to beach needs with (sand toys, mini cooler, boogie board, etc.). The large balcony was nice for relaxing and enjoying the view of the ocean, the water was so clear over 50 yards into the water even. The grounds were well taken care of, and it’s a secure location with gated entry. 100% recommend, would love to stay here again!

Miramar beach area is the best! Edgewater is an older property but our unit was clean and had great views of the Gulf. All was as agreed upon and the unit was exactly as the pictures portrayed. The check in and check out process needs to change- we had to travel out of our way to check in and check out, which added unnecessary time spent in Destin traffic. A physical check in and check out process is unreal - who does that anymore?!? Other than that, loved the trip!"

Great stay at the beach! We had no issues with checking in and getting into the property. Text and portal provided clear instructions. Our unit was clean and what was expected. Only item needing attention would be the carpet in the bedrooms, needs to be updated.

Spring Break 2024We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater. Our room was perfect for us (family of 4) & we easily could have had 6. The kitchen is well equipped. The sink disposal doesn’t work great but I didn’t call bc it really didn’t impact us this trip. We would definitely stay at the resort and specifically in this unit again.

We had a wonderful stay, the unit was very clean and had a great view. There were a few things that may need some attention before long. The couch is not very comfortable, the king bed mattress needs to be replaced(very worn), main bathroom paint is peeling. There was every kitchen gadget you could think of, except an ice cream scoop. :).

LOVELY and so comfy!!
Over all I was comfortable with my stay. Felt very “homey”, descent view to the beach. Even though the weather wasn’t what I would’ve like it was still enjoyable. ONLY thing I wish was different was having a smart tv with Netflix etc. But over all amazing stay. And the master bedroom bed!! LOVELY and so comfy!!

The condo is very nicely appointed, and updated.
My family stayed here from 4/23-4/30 and it was great!!! The large balcony was fantastic. The condo facility was great as well. There was absolutely nothing about this condo that we did not like.....simply stated it was better than great!!!! We will definitely stay at Edgewater 601 again.

Great to be back at Edgewater!
Great to be back at Edgewater! We first stayed here - several times - in the mid to late 80s. Still a very nice and well-kept property with a beautiful view! Only two suggestions: Make sure the security guard has a complete list of guests arriving that day. Our late arrival was confusing for him. Also, a paper packet always helps, or at least a hard copy of the property layout is good to have.
