Concerts and Fireworks at HarborWalk Village
The HarborWalk Village will be hosting a few events over Memorial Day weekend! On Saturday night, from 7 – 9 p.m., Flash Flood will be playing a free concert on the harbor. The fun continues on Sunday night with Cadillac Willie Playing from 7 – 9 p.m. and starting at 9 p.m. there will be a breathtaking fireworks display over Destin Harbor.
The Village of Baytowne Wharf
The Village of Baytowne Wharf is another can’t-miss spot for anyone spending Memorial Day on the Emerald Coast! This lovely shopping and dining area is hosting free live music on Saturday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Sunday from 6 – 9 p.m. Saturday evening the Forrest William Band will be kicking off the weekend festivities with Jarred and The High Aces wrapping it up Sunday night. Also on Sunday evening, those in The Village can also enjoy a firework show over the water.
Festivities on Crab Island
If you elect to rent a boat while you are visiting the area, you must make sure to stop and visit Crab Island! Crab Island is an adventure like no other.
Located on the Bayside of the Destin Bridge this famous underwater island is where locals and visitors anchor to spend the day and enjoy their family, friends, and the beautiful water and weather Destin has to offer. The water depth varies from two to ten feet deep depending on where you anchor, and is its shallowest to the middle and works its way out from there. Locals and visitors alike come here to play in the water where you will find floating slides, basketball, volleyball, live music, restaurants, and you are guaranteed to make new friends!
